A 69,000-volt outdoor oil circuit breaker was added to the substation of a steel corporation which involved extending the primary electric line 1/2 mile. A 5,000 horsepower wound rotor shredder motor and auxiliary equipment were included in the plan. Design services evaluated remanufactured equipment to reduce lead time for new equipment.
