The 2,500-square-foot bank located at the corner of Poplar and Germantown Road is the first building in Shelby County to acheive LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. DePouw Engineering designed the electrical system including the lighting to comply with the stringent energy requirements set forth by USGBC. This building achieved LEED Silver certification.
