Back To ProjectsThe 15,000 seat park opened in downtown Memphis in April of 2000 and was immediately hailed as one the finest minor league ballparks in the country. The firm was involved in all aspects of the electrical design including: Sports lighting – The facility was designed to attain average maintained footcandle levels of 250 for the infield and 200 for the outfield, exceeding the requirements of Major League Baseball. The system consists of 556 floodlights on four freestanding steel poles and four towers mounted to the grandstand structure and the adjacent Toyota Center office building. The design also contained indoor batting cages and clubhouse facilities for the players, VIP lounges, party decks, restaurants, 20 permanent and portable concession venues, 47 luxury suites and over 1800ft of cable tray.
